Ready for Primer

First, the plastic barrel was washed with diluted vinegar.  When dry, the surface of the barrel was sanded, getting it ready for primer.

Rusty, the Watchdog, watches.

Outside, the first coat of primer goes on.

Getting work done outdoors in the Pacific Northwest can be challenging.  Did I mention this is a RAIN Barrel?

The sprinkles of rain added some texture to the surface, which I try to create in all my projects. Yea! Less work for me.
